WHO WE ARE

We are just normal high school students like many of you with too much stress and too little time. For now we won't reveal our identities but you can be assured that we have lots of experience with drowning in homework, staying up till dawn to study for a test, and dreaming of a time when we could sleep and not spend half of our lives at school. We want to build an environment where people can openly discuss their stress and find solutions to address those problems. We believe that the future of education will benefit if we can change our lives now. So please join in and share your voices with ours!

Nicole Trappe

Hi guys, I'm Nicole if you didn't read the sentence above this one. I'm the head writer of most of the articles, advice sections, and posts that you'll see and the artistic director among a few other jobs. I grew up in Silicon Valley, one of the stress-centers of the world in my opinion; it's very competitive due to student goals, parental expectations, and the course loads. School was insanely stressful with all the homework, clubs, sports, achievements--really everything that was expected of us. On top of that, I'm a perfectionist which means that nothing I do ever feels good enough; I spend more time stressing about how I, or my assignments, are lacking rather than moving on and managing my time. I've probably experienced some of what you guys have as well: overblown expectations, fatigue, depression, panic attacks, and the refusal to take breaks. It was out of my own experiences with stress--which had been destroying my love of learning and own happiness--that I decided I wanted to transform that pain into something beneficial. That's why this site exists today, so that you can get help, share your experiences, and live better lives.
